Oh Nashville, I’m going to be vulnerable with you. I was excited to move here for all the fun things to do and places to go, but I was petrified of the people.
Not that I’ve heard any horrible stories about the people of Nashville, but I didn’t know if I would fit in or how long it would take to meet new friends. I have been completely amazed at how silly of a thought that was and how fabulous all these new people in my life are! The past month I have spent well over 25 hours in hipster coffee shops (some have even come to my home for dinner and vice versa!) talking life and dreams with these people and I am more grateful than you know. They’ve welcomed me. They’ve made me laugh. And for not even knowing me that long, they believe in me! That right there is indescribable and so encouraging. The Nashville community is more sincere than I could have imagined and I’m forever thankful.
