“I think it’s safe to say that we live in a world where contentment is at the bottom of the list of characteristics we excel in. It’s sitting there right next to patience. We fail at it daily because it isn’t easy…or fun. I mean, try spending five minutes on Pinterest without feeling like you need to run to Home Goods and find the perfect throw pillows for your living room couch – the navy blue ones with the cutest polka dots. We think that if we had more money in the bank, or three more clients this quarter, another child, or even one friend to be able to visit with over coffee, then we would be more content. We just need a little bit more to be satisfied.”
