Last year I discovered the tastiness that is The Peach Truck and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on their peaches as soon as I got word that they were available at the 12 South Farmers Market. I had a peach cobbler recipe waiting patiently on an index card to be made and it was time! I’m one for sharing, so if you’re looking for a peach cobbler recipe, I’ve included it below.

What you’ll need:
2 cups fresh sliced peaches (peeled or unpeeled, depending on your preference)
1 cup Bisquick All Purpose Mix
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of butter (melted)
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
How to make it:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
Break out your 9 x 9 baking dish and stir in Bisquick, nutmeg, and cinnamon all together. Then, stir in the melted butter.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir the sugar and peaches together.
Spoon the peaches over the cobbler crust.
Bake it for one hour or until the crust is a golden brown.
Serve it* warm (or cold) and enjoy!
I grew up in Vermont so we always nibbled on a piece of cheddar cheese with our warm pie. Give it a try!
*For the perfect serving size, I spoon the cobbler into mini mason jars.
