The Instagram community is the coolest! I was recently tagged by a friend who saw an event in Nashville that she thought I’d be interested in attending and I’m so glad she did! I had the privilege to attend a Shoe Cutting Party for Sole Hope hosted by the adorable blogger, Natalie, of Take the Cannoli. My friend Brandy came with me and we spent the evening tracing and cutting out denim to be made into shoes for children in Uganda. We sat with two of the sweetest girls and talked about growing up in the 90’s, Canada, blogging, and our journeys to Nashville…while secretly racing to be the first to finish our patterns of course 😉 I’m thankful for community and doing things that make a difference.
