I only ugly cried four times this weekend.
Family and friends completely spoiled me with love as we celebrated The Little Clipper, and his upcoming arrival, at my baby shower. It hasn’t been a super easy journey to get to this place where I am just weeks away from meeting this little babe and to have those I hold so dearly together, in the same room, was an overwhelming blessing!
My mama and in-laws traveled in from out of state and took over my house setting up every single adorable detail…all while completely banning me from cleaning my house or hosting them in any way.
My two besties from childhood road tripped 17 hours to surprise me (that was the first ugly cry of the weekend). And so many sweet, sweet friends that I’ve made since our move to Nashville warmed up my living room and spoiled me to pieces in multiple ways. How did I deserve all of this!? (More ugly cries.)
Joseph and I ended the weekend with brunch at Pinewood Social with my girls and it was the perfect ending to the weekend. I mean, brunch at Pinewood is pretty perfect everyday, am I right?
Feeling beyond blessed and loved as a new week begins.
