This week we had the fun excitement of the band Felling Giants staying with us as they record their first EP album here in Nashville!
Natalie, Chris, Bert, Christian, and Chris (yes, there are a lot of Chris’s haha) road tripped all the way from Colorado this weekend. I convinced them to stand by the front door for their “First Day of Studio” portrait the first morning before they headed out.
Please send some prayers up for them as they poured out their hearts and passions into their album this week… I know they’ll appreciate them.
I also had the opportunity to shoot some photo and video footage of them working in the studio and I cannot wait to see it all come together for their promo video!
And it’s the behind-the-scenes moments. The ones where your dreams are actually happening. You’re in the studio and you’re really doing it. And you tap your foot a little stronger and you feel the music a little differently. And it doesn’t matter how few hours of sleep you got the night before because passion, and God, and hard work, (and French pressed coffee and Red Bull) are waiting for you the next day to give you the energy to get up and do it all over again.
