
One of my personal fun goals for 2020 is to perfect the art of the French macaron.

Each month, I set aside one day to bake a batch and take notes. Last month (my 5th attempt) I FINALLY got the consistency of the batter down and baked them well enough to make buttercream for them.

This month (my 6th attempt), I stepped out on a creative limb and had fun with the color. Multicolored shells with a simple sprinkle buttercream. They’re not perfect yet, but it’s fun to see my improvements and progress each month.

Macarons are dramatic little things, but I’m not giving up! Which color combo or flavor do you think I should I try next month?
