(Almost) three years with this cool kid.
Full of compassion and hilarity, he teaches me so many things about myself and life, it’s absolutely mind blowing.
He became a big brother this past year and he grew up over night. He takes his role seriously, but also provides much needed comic relief during the days we’re all running on little sleep. He loves to help others feel better by giving a hug, coloring a picture, or baking them a treat.
When I told him that I wanted to celebrate his birthday with you all on the blog, he got so excited and asked, “Can we blow up balloons and put them in the laptop???” I had to explain to him that balloons are hard to fit in a computer, but then I asked him what some more of his favorite things were and that is where the idea of, “Wyatt’s 3 Favorite Things Giveaway” was born.
In celebration of Wyatt turning three, I thought it would be fun to spend this week leading up to his birthday with a three-part giveaway!

For part two of the giveaway, I’m highlighting the second of three things that is Wyatt’s favorite: “my wrapping paper books!”
Books rank higher than toys in our house most days and I have to say, it makes my bookworm heart SO happy! We always read books before nap and bed time and whenever else the mood strikes during the day.
Each month, Wyatt gets super excited about his Bookroo subscription box of books that comes to our door. Each box contains 2-3 books and they are individually wrapped in fun wrapping paper and tied with a bow! He loves getting “presents” in the mail so presents that are also books? Amazing!
The books are carefully curated for each age range (0-2, 3-6, and 7-10) and a great way to discover new books and authors. Every single book he’s gotten is a book we’ve never read before and they quickly become his favorite! When we make a trip to the library, we get excited to look up the authors and see what other books they’ve written.

One of the three things that is Wyatt’s favorite are his “comfy clothes”. So cute that that’s one of his favorite things, right?
I buy most of his clothes from Zara because they have a ton of neutral options that are easy to mix and match. It makes picking out outfits and getting dressed easy for Wyatt and I love giving him that ownership and not having to worry about him wearing a plaid Paw Patrol shirt with polka dot pants and striped socks.
