Every day he hugs my belly and asks me, “See baby today?” I tell him the baby’s still growing, but it will be soon and we talk about all the things we’ll get to do together once baby gets here. I think he’s most excited about diaper changes and the sleeper swing because he’s always asking to change his stuffed dog’s diaper or push his baby doll in the swing.
We don’t know what we’re having and the excitement waiting for that surprise is building. If you ask Wyatt, he’ll tell you “girl baby inside” and her name is Baby Sister 2 (Oh and he also calls me Big Mama, so that’s fun.) I can’t wait to see if he’s right! And if he’s not, his little brother is definitely going to beat him up when he’s old enough.
It’s such a sweet season right now just the three of us and I am soaking in my one-on-one time with him during the days because we don’t have much of it left. So many big feelings all around. I guess I just want him to know how deeply I love him and enjoy his toddler “snugs”, you know?
