TODAY WE MOVED TO NASHVILLE | NASHVILLE LIFESTYLE BLOGGER

Today we moved to Nashville. An adorable house with a large fireplace. And a garage. I’ve never had a garage before, so I’m pretty excited. We live in a neighborhood, but just outside the entrance is a winding country road with a horse farm, cows grazing in fields, and a few quiet deer scattered around.

Joseph isn’t here yet. He will arrive on Saturday with the moving truck and all of our belongings. I came early because I’ve been at the Pursuit Conference all week and it was just a short drive from there. So I’m here, getting our new home ready and anxiously waiting for Joseph to walk in that front door…into this new adventure together. I wonder if he’ll smell that new paint smell too and smile at the way the light streams in through the tall windows and decorates the wall with stripes.

Change is scary, but we are excited. We know that God has big plans for us in Tennessee and I can’t wait to share them with you. As I lay atop quilts on the floor of our empty living room and sleep on an air mattress that’s not quite fully inflated, I’m holding on to the promise He gives us in Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I’m the new girl in Nashville and I’m ready.
